In September 2011 SANTO joined the membership of the largest European Pharmacological Holding, Polpharma Group. The Company obtained access to state-of-the-art technologies and investments, opened new opportunities for intensive growth in accordance with international quality standards.  Started to make significant investments in new technologies, GMP, human resources and infrastructure development.

In December 2013, the plant has launched production complex for manufacturing of parenteral solutions of large and small volumes (ampoules infusions department). Investment in the project exceeded USD 40mln. Modified R&D center, renovated warehousing facilities and infrastructure (roads, new boiling house.)   

In the frameworks of the program on modernization and construction of new pharmaceutical facilities planned over USD 100mln of investments.

According to the results of  the year 2015 announced by IMS Health (leading global information and technology services  company providing clients in the healthcare industry with solutions to measure and improve their performance)  SANTO company has become a leader in pharmaceutical market of Kazakhstan in monetary terms. The Company is the leader in pharmaceutical market of Kazakhstan having in its portfolio more than 260 generic and innovator drugs from 12 Pharmacotherapeutic groups for treatment of diseases in various therapy areas.  Annual production capacities of SANTO enable to produce 1.2bln tablets, capsules, granules; 300 mln amploules; 6 mln infusions; 40 mln vials of antibiotics; 26 mln bottles of syrups. Finished products line includes:   

• 44 SKU solid dosage forms (tablets);
• 46 SKU injectable solutions in ampoules;
• 18 SKU sterile powdered antibiotics in bottles;
• 27 SKU syrups, tinctures, extracts, solutions for external and internal use;
• 7 SKU capsules, granules and sachets.

SANTO have been produced effective and affordable medicinal products are in demand of board layers of population. As of today our company has granted the following international GMP certificates that enable us to entry into international markets:  

1. Sterile production of injections in new ampoules infusions department;

2. Production facility for infusions.

Today SANTO makes export supplies to five countries including Eurasian Economic Union country-members: Russia, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Tadzhikistan, Turkmenistan. In order to increase export share registered in Kyrgyzstan its representative office.
