Supply price of a concentrated saline for hemodialysis, one of the most demanded medical products of domestic production, for delivery with the purpose of free medicinal provision to the hospitals of the country is reduced by 12%.

The decision to reduce the price for supplies through the unified distribution system on August 1 was made by a Kazakhstan manufacturer, the pharmaceutical manufacturer, with which the Single Distributor has been cooperating for several years under a long-term contract.

Annually, the purchase of a hemodialysis solution for Kazakhstan patients through a single distributor is increasing. Due to the increase in the purchase volume of the Single Distributor, the company even managed to reduce the price for this product by more than 12%.

The guaranteed state order is a powerful positive factor for the development of domestic production, which helps to withstand competition on the market from foreign manufacturers. At the same time, the products of companies constantly undergo safety and quality assessment and always comply with all regulatory standards.

According to Maxim Kasatkin, chairman of the board of the single distributor for the purchase of medicines and medical products, SK-Pharmaceuticals, such a manifestation of the social responsibility of the business, when the reduction in the purchase price occurs at the initiative of the domestic producer, is not frequent. It is important to note that the money saved from reducing the cost of products remains in the hospital budget, and they can be redistributed for additional purchase of medicines. "This step on the part of the supplier is an opportunity for hospitals to increase the number of patients treated free of charge. I hope that other companies follow their example, "Maxim Kasatkin added.

By the way, to stimulate the development of the pharmaceutical industry and the development of domestic production, 30 long-term contracts for the supply of 553 medical products and 213 items of medical products have been concluded by the Single Distributor. Domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers have already established the production and supply of 137 names of medicines and 152 names of medical products in the framework of these agreements. And on July 26 the results of one more contest for concluding such long-term contracts were summed up. Such contracts for several years provide domestic pharmaceutical producers with state order, and thus a guaranteed market for their products, which allows them not only to confidently plan their production, but also to attract significant investments into the industry.
