The deputy of Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Dariga Nazarbayeva summon up the doctors not to hide poor statistics in medicine, according to Kursiv.kz with reference to Kazinform.
Take the floor at a meeting with the medical community in Astana, D. Nazarbayeva said that quality assurance in the industry need to be reviewed.
"On the whole, the criteria of merit rating required need to be changed. Present criteria conduct to the fact that just there is a concealment of many negative facts. And it badly affects to planning of the budget. That is, there is no problem - money isn't allocated. It is still a question what is a big crime: to hide a problem or to show it what it is. Therefore now we set a task for the Ministry of Health as much as possible to achieve reliable statistics already in the program of development of health care, the budgetary plans, the solution of these problems to include, not to suppress them and not to pretend that they are absent", - the Deputy Prime Minister has told.
